Andrews Academy fosters a mindset of empathy and understanding for others by offering firsthand experiences connecting students with from different countries and cultures. Relationships within the classrooms and beyond involve opportunities for social interaction and collaborative learning experiences. The students learn stewardship of the school, the natural world, and the local and global community. A mix of classroom and real-world experiences shapes the students’ social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development. Outdoor and environmental education is integrated through partnerships with Gateway Greening and the Litzsinger Road Ecology Center.
