Beyond our outstanding academic program, Andrews Academy offers enriching aftercare experiences that introduce students to a wide variety of interests, including science, technology, robotics, art, music, and sports. These opportunities allow students to explore new passions, strengthen skills, and build lasting friendships.

Our Summer Program welcomes children ages 4 through incoming Sixth Grade for immersive, engaging experiences designed to foster self-confidence, creativity, and interpersonal growth. History

Andrews Academy was founded in 1979 upon requests of interested parents at Hope Montessori Academy. These parents believed their children had been exposed to an excellent pre-elementary environment and wanted to make certain the process would continue.

During the first four years of operation, Andrews Academy held classes in a comfortable residence adjacent to Hope Montessori Academy awaiting the completion of a totally new facility. By fall of 1981 Andrews Academy had first through third grade with another grade level added each year until sixth grade. Ground was broken in the fall of 1982, and by August of 1983 the new Andrews Academy School was ready to move forward. In 1985 Andrews Academy had its first graduating class of thirteen students. Ten years later in 1995, the graduating class had grown to thirty-five graduates.

Andrews Academy now offers children from Junior Kindergarten through Sixth grade a love of learning. Set on a beautiful wooded campus, the educational complex includes twenty-two large classrooms, library, art and music studios, play studio, science lab, gymnasium, innovation studio, discovery room, health room, swimming pool, and performing arts stage. In addition there are outdoor physical education classes, sports areas, and a nature trail. A significant amount of acreage is retained in its natural state to preserve wildlife in the area and to provide students with nearby resource for environmental studies.

Andrews Academy is honored to be a member of the Hope Organization family of schools. The Hope Montessori Academies are a wonderful beginning to the educational growth of preschool children and the Andrews Academies accommodate the elementary years. A new addition to our family of schools is, the Hope Montessori Educational Institute, specializing in the certifying of Montessori teachers.
