Third Grade
I am extremely elated to work in a caring and nurturing environment where students are encouraged to think critically and become life-long ambitious problem solvers. In regard to my background, I am a graduate of Fontbonne University with a B.A. in elementary education. I have experience with teaching first, second, and third grades in both public and charter school settings. At my previous schools, I assisted with developing my department’s reading curriculum as well as infrastructural project-based learning in each elementary classroom.
I am a strong believer in developing my students’ curiosities, problem-solving skills, and the intrinsic motivation needed to become successful adults. I believe this is obtained by building positive relationships with both the parents and students in our class.
When I’m not teaching, I enjoy spending time with my friends and family (dogs), working in my garden, playing games, traveling, or picking up a good book to read.
