First Grade
Before joining Andrews Academy, I was an elementary, special education teacher at several public schools, and I also taught Kindergarten and First Grade at a private elementary school in St. Louis. I possess a Master of Arts in Teaching and I am certified by the state of Missouri to teach early childhood, elementary education, physical education, business education, and special education. Through my varied experience, I have developed a philosophy of teaching that includes the ideas that learning should be interactive and fun. It is my job to create a caring and stimulating learning environment, where students reach their full learning potential and achieve superior academic excellence through quality educational instruction.
Outside of the classroom, I enjoy spending time with my husband and sons, taking my dog on long walks, and watching movies.
