Admissions Process
The first step in the admissions process is to visit with our Head of School and admissions staff to learn about the Andrews Academy difference and tour our classrooms. Visit and tours are available Monday through Friday by appointment. Please contact the school office at 314-878-1883 for a personal visit and tour. We look forward to seeing you.
Complete the Application
Return the completed application to Andrews Academy. An application fee of $100 per child must accompany the application.
Screening
The student is asked to participate in an assessment and interview. Assessments and interviews are scheduled in the morning which allows the student to shadow in their grade level classroom in the afternoon if desired.
Admissions Criteria and Decision
Admission decisions are made on a timely basis following the assessment and interview. The Head of School and admissions staff will confer to reach an admission decision based on the following criteria:
- Personal interview with parents & students
- Entrance assessment
- Previous school records, if applicable
- Recommendations
- Sibling and legacy status
All of these factors are considered to determine admission of your child.
