Standardized tests are administered in the fall and spring as one way to determine the success of our program and our students. Our test results have remained consistently high, with class composite scores exceeding national norms. Children do increasingly well as they move though the school program. For example, for the last three years a typical Third grade class will score at least 2.5 years ahead of national norms.
At Andrews Academy testing is a means of determining levels of competence and providing a base from which to proceed with the appropriate course of study. In addition, to measuring each student’s progress, the testing indicates the effectiveness of our teaching materials and techniques.
