Angela Mazzini

K - 2 Spanish

 

Angela Mazzini joined Andrews Academy in the fall of 2021 as an Associate Teacher working with various grade level students and teachers.

Mrs. Mazzini holds a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from Western Governors University and an Associate’s degree in Technical Translation from Oklahoma State University.

Currently, she holds the position of Spanish teacher for Kindergarten through 2nd Grade.

Mrs. Mazzini was born in San José, Costa Rica and moved to the United States in 1999 along with her family. As an English language learner herself, she developed a passion for helping others who are also learning a new language. During her teaching experience she has worked alongside teachers assisting with ELL students in various subjects and assisting in translation between students, parents, and staff. Mrs. Mazzini has also earned a verification and certification of Bilingual Skills.

Her goal as an educator is to provide students with the resources they need to develop their own potential and learning style in an environment where they feel accepted, safe and free to express themselves.

On her free time, Mrs. Mazzini enjoys being a mom and spending time with her children. She also enjoys going to the gym, going on hikes, kayaking, Latin dancing, and her personal favorite; traveling around the world.
