Andrews Academy offers a wide variety of after school programs here on campus. All activities are based on sufficient enrollment of the classes. Cub Scouts and Girl Scouts are led by volunteer parent troop leaders. All after school program registration forms are available in the front office.

Piano
Piano lessons help develop a student's natural creative abilities. Private piano lessons are offered after school Monday through Friday. More information can be found on the activities board, or by request in the office.
Guitar
The Childbloom Guitar Program is a specialty music program that teaches music through the guitar. Focusing on parental involvement in the lesson and practice at home, the program teaches families how to create a successful learning environment at home and nurture that success. The Childbloom Guitar Method is currently being used by educators throughout the nation and is the largest program of its kind in the United States. Classes are age appropriate combining 1st through 4th graders, and 5th through 8th graders, in two separate classes. Dance/Tumbling
Students stay active and gain self-confidence through the performance of dance. Multiple level dance classes and a tumbling class are offered to Andrews Academy students. The classes are available year round after school. More information is available upon request in the office.
Kuk Sool Won Martial Arts
Kuk Sool Won is a comprehensive martial arts system that is derived from the rich and varied martial arts techniques and traditions that have arisen in Korea through the ages. Kuk Sool is not a sport, nor is it simply another Asian self defense method. Kuk Sool is a complete martial art that is dedicated to the cultivation of mental strength and well being and to the preservation of traditional Korean Martial Arts.
Kuk Sool Won is a well organized system of martial arts which seeks to integrate and explore all aspects of the traditional Korean martial arts. As a self-defense or fighting system Kuk Sool Won covers the entire spectrum of the traditional Asian fighting arts and techniques of body conditioning, as well as mental development.

Spanish Club
Spanish club, lead by Andrews Academy’s Spanish teacher Sra. Berry, explores the culture and language of Latin America. The class is offered after school in the fall and spring. More information is available upon request in the office.
Drama Club
Students show off their creative expressions through artistic drama practice. Students second through eighth grade can try out for drama club in the fall and spring. The actors and actresses learn their roles, memorize their lines and put on two spectacular drama performances annually.
Afterschool Art Adventures
Afterschool Art Adventures, led by Andrews Academy’s art teacher Ms. Luttrell, influences students to explore their imagination through artistic expression. Students create amazing art using a variety of media including paint, watercolors, fabric, and mixed media. By using their imagination and studying amazing examples from nature students will create fun and breathtaking art to take home. After School Art Adventures is open to any child in Kindergarten - 2nd Grade. Private Art Lessons are available as well.
Set and Prop Crew
The scenery, or set, constructed for a theatrical performance helps to tell a story on stage. Students will learn about the importance of the role of scenery and props in theatrical performances as well as create scenery and props for the drama club’s spring performance. *Students do not need to be enrolled in the drama club to participate in the set and prop crew. Set and Prop Crew is open to any child in 3rd–8th Grade.
Cub Scouts
For over 80 years, Cub Scouts have been having the time of their lives making new friends and learning new things in an environment designed to help them succeed. From building his own pinewood derby car to learning how to roast the perfect marshmallow with his best friends at a family campout, your child will love being a Cub Scout. So if he’s in the first through third grade, then it’s time to him to have some fun… with Cub Scouts. Boy scouts will only be held if troop parents volunteer to lead.
Girl Scouts
Girls grow strongest when they are challenged and secure. In Girl Scouts, girls build character and skills for success in the real world. The qualities girls develop in Girl Scouting are leadership, values, social conscience, and conviction about their own self-worth – serve them all their lives. Girl Scouts are offered Kindergarten through third grade. All troops are lead by parent volunteers. Girl Scouts will only be held if troop parents volunteer to lead.
