Fourth and First Grade Associate
James Campbell joined Andrews Academy in 2018 and is looking forward to teaching seventh grade starting in the fall of 2019, specializing in English Language Arts. James holds a bachelor’s degree from Nottingham Trent University, England, and is currently completing his master’s degree in elementary education at UMSL.
After spending 27 years of his life in England, James moved to St. Louis to live with his wife and pursue a career in education. As a lover of the outdoors, James can often be found hiking St. Louis trails, running with his dog, or playing soccer. His energy and excitement for adventure translates well to the classroom.
James is committed to creating a learning environment that is stimulating and encouraging to students. As a highly motivated and dedicated educator, he aims to develop meaningful hands-on lessons that foster imagination and success. His use of universal design for learning underpins the uniquely personalized philosophy of education at Andrews Academy to strongly promote independence and development of each student.
