Dina Peak

Library Media Specialist

I graduated from William Woods University with honors. I received Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education and French. During my Senior year, I spent a semester abroad in Nantes, France at the Institute of European Studies. All my classes were in French. I have two Master’s Degrees in Education Administration and Elementary Education/Reading Specialist. My certifications include: Elementary/Middle School, French, Reading, and Library Media Specialist. As an educator, I have over 35 years of experience as a teacher and Library Media Specialist in public, parochial, and private schools in grades Junior Kindergarten through Eighth Grade. At Andrews Academy, my goal with the library/makerspace program is to create lifelong learners, researchers, engineers, and readers in a collaborative, nurturing environment. Working with all staff members and students in their classroom is integral to achieving this goal. Beyond the school day, I enjoy my two daughters who are in college, reading, exercising, and travelling.
