Spanish
I graduated from Murray State University with a bachelor’s degree in Spanish. I lived and studied abroad in Spain for almost a year in Castellón de la Plana, Valencia. I encourage traveling every chance I get and learning about the vast number of beautiful cultures worldwide. It’s important that we open our minds and hearts to the infinite knowledge of different peoples, places and ideas. My ultimate passion is to not only teach Spanish and its literary and vocal principles, but to also encourage the students here at Andrews to continuously stay positive, grow and treat others how they would like to be treated. Learning another language, especially at such a young age, allows our brains to make connections easier and think outside of the box. The most rewarding thing about this experience is watching our students think in more ways, and languages, than one, all the while having fun along the way.
